They are now taking pre-orders. Pricing is on par with previous games with options for early Beta's. To be honest I don't think I will be picking up any pre-orders. I enjoyed BF3 and still play it regularly but I don't really see the benefit of paying for it now. I also don't think I will be picking up a server either at least not at launch. I enjoy running servers but the way BF3 ran it was very hard to get it populated.

Well I am days away from making a decision on a new job with a pay rise (although it will involve moving to Ireland) and if I do I'll be rewarding myself with BF4 and either a new PS4 or a new PC... tbh I'll probably go for the PS4

We allow him to go into EB Games to get a birthday present for a friend and he returns wearing BF4 dog tags. He was out of the car for less then ten minutes and he enlisted!

It doesn't seem fair; he gets dog tags and I get dog tired.

Well I downloaded and played the beta for a couple minutes. Granted I have not played BF 3 in a very very long time, but I don't really see any difference. Looks like the same game to me. I did realize I have no idea how to play it anymore I did not have to pre-order to get the beta.

In the middle of the Beta download.
I will be interested to see if it runs any better than the Alpha did on my machine. I have just downloaded a new Beta for the NVidia graphics which says it it improves the graphics card handling for BF4.
