Conflict of Heroes - PC port of a good board wargame

Post by [JiF]Uncle Stinky »

I jsut saw this game was reelased. It is based on a very popluar board wargame series, and the initial review is favorable. I like the fact you can view the pices as either their original cardboard units or as icons.

It also has multiplayer support.

I might wait for one more positive review, and then buy it.

I'm dowloading CoH right now and will let you know how it is. The developers are also wargamers and their design discussion pm the forums convinced me to get it.

Here's another thing to check out - the demo for Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy. This is the I-Go-We-Go system I mentioned on TS, i/e. both sides place their orders and they they play out simultaneously over 60 seconds. If you get the demo let me mknow and we can try ot a scenario. Besides Normandy, they have a Soviets in Afghansitan game and a modern combat game in the same series.
