It does enable you to get to them if you are not a support though. It is going to make using the mortar a mutch more dangerous occupation. It also means that if you attack back you are not panning a home base spawn with your fire, so no mortar spawn rape. It will be easier to spot those that are doing this, but make it safer for spawning at home.[JiF]zougathefist wrote:That's an interesting development re. the mortar because you can still use one to fire back into an out of bounds area so it doesn't give any particular advantage - wonder why they are changing it?
I got tired of trying to read all the tweeks & what they all meant for the game as there are so many of them. Apparently it's a 1gb patch.
I guess it will be a wait & see how the different classes are affected by the changes, you never know I might go back to mining straight after patch as how many people are going to forget that they have to be spotted to be visible on the mini map. Could be good for a while, especially if I put them in those places where they just can't be seen in the 1st place. Little hint on the ramps on Nosher Canals you can place the mines in the water shallows. Also use destruction rubble, if you drop a mine on a chunk of material it disappears underneath. , this one can be good for a while on the Hilltop flag of Caspian.
