My father had his knee replaced about 3 years ago. It gave him a new lease of life & the ability to continue on his walking holidays he loves to take at least once a year.
Not bad for a man approaching 80. Sometimes think mum wishes he'd slow down a bit.
You'll get there major. Just a matter of time, but I recommend that you have lots & lots of therapy sessions.

In therapy today I was able to bend my knee to 96 degrees.
That's about 6 degrees more than I've been able to do in the last ten years.
