Thats odd. I had gone to the FIOS site before and if I put in my phone number it said not available.
If I put in my address it said it was. Now it says its not for either my address or my phone number :(
I had even gotten a flyer in the mail for FIOS a while back. Now I only get DSL offers :(
Oh well, still its probably just a matter of time. The fibers has been all run for quite a while now.

Well it's all served via the same fiber-optic connection. So if your neighborhood is wired for one, you're wired for both. But with TV, I think they have to get individual franchise approval in each county. Here in Maryland, they're approved in Howard County where I live and a couple other counties. The installer was telling me that they just got approved in Baltimore County, which is a huge county. I'm surprised that they'd wire up neighborhoods where they can't provide the TV service yet, but maybe that's what happened.

Its offered in Indiana but only in 2 towns and both are around 100 miles from me. I know back in the early to mid 90's they ran fiber through the center of town following the main highway which is the one highway that runs right through the middle of the state from Il to Oh.
