Star Wars: The Old Republic - Beta Tester

Hey!

Good news everybody, I just got selected to beta test the new and upcoming MMO from Bioware, Star Wars: The Old Republic. For those of you who haven't signed up to be a tester its still not too late, just visit http://www.swtor.com/tester and you can create an account. I of course had to sign a NDA but that doesn't change the fact that I will certainly discuss the pros/cons so far with you all! Anyone else manage to sneek their way into testing this game yet?

If anyone here plans on playing SWtOR I'm part of a great bunch of folks that are old SWG players. From what I've seen of JiF you guys would fit right in. We'll be having an Imperial guild on the Shadow Hand server named Lost, and a Republic guild on the same server named Found. It's a PvE server but I'm sure some of us will be mixing it up in a lot of the PvP that the game offers.

If JiF is planning a guild in The Old Republic, then please disregard this and carry on(certainly not trying to take anyone away from here!), but if not, then look us up. If you mention that Edoas sent you you'll recieve a warm welcome =).

I've been pretty obsessed with this game. I did not create a char on the server suggested though as it was full at the time I was ready to play. I picked a server with a light population and have been loving every minute of it. It's like playing a single player game, with other people. I hope it's popularity continues to grow. If ever there was a game that stand to beat WoW, this is the one.

Yea Mike I totaly agree, the story line is realy cool and you decide weather to go "lite or dark",on either the Imperial or the Rebel forces

I created a smuggler on your server named Bernin. Can't say how much I will play him in the long wrong though. I have a 26 crusader and some 16's on the other server.

My wife just picked the game up last night, so if I have her create one on your server I will probably play him more!

New republic char Andra'l. Created him last night cause I was getting kinda bored with the scoundrel. Guess I should have gone gunslinger! oh well.
