You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Re: Out of town
Well it's been a few days and we're all kinda over the initial shock. Being back home has helped a lot. We live a few hours away, so we can kinda focus on other things. We will probably be spending a lot of time down there this summer so I may not be available much on weekends. Now the bad news, the Dr. told us he has 6 months if he doesn't get chemo & radiation therapy, and if he does, 12 - 18 months is likely. Definitely not the news any of us expected. He is still in the hospital recovering from the surgery, and he does at least feel a lot better. They bypassed the blockage so his jaundice will go away and he's starting to look a lot better. I can't say what the next few months will bring, my wife is doing well considering and we are hopeful that we'll get to spend a lot of time with him over the summer.

You've probably already considered this, but a second opinion maybe in order too.

Re: Out of town
I know you've had time to prepare yourselves for this, but that doesn't seem to make it any easier when the time comes.
