Racing ?

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a good PC Racing game. I love to race on line, and I also enjoy building my car or truck or boat up. Any Ideas ? ..................Thanks BG

Dater did tell me about a really good pc racing game but I can't remember what it was called now.

NASCAR 2003 or N2003 as it's called. The games are rare & VERY expensive.
But the game is very COOL! Lot's of mods & very realistic.
I play all the time & used to be in a league. Otherwise the only other game worthy is called R-factor. But I like N2003 better. Besides my machine struggles to run R-factor.

Hey thanks Major , you are right it's expensive in the usa ($79 +) but I just ordered n2003 from amazon.co.uk for £15.95 approx $24)

If you start playing the nascar game, get ready for alot of sleepless nights. It is very adicting and races can last hours. Just as in real life

best racing game ever is GRAND PRIX LEGENDS by sierra it is unmatched in openwheel f1 cars and for a joyride im sure youll enjoy is any of the colin mcrae DIRT series they have a real physics feel to them when you race if you get a chance ide buy GPL even though its 10+ years old it truely was and is the standard i base ALL racing games on. it's realatively cheap and make sure to check out the grand prix legends preservation society's website they have had people working on track and car textures the whole time since release and have comprised a GPLMAXINSTALL.exe which requires original cd verification to install but it has the most mods and skins and video drivers available today for incredible realism.

F1 2011 is as well but I've played F1 2010 and you have to be a big fan of F1 racing as I found it more of a simulation than arcade style, graphics are great tho.

oh yeah shell its on!! ..let me know .. im sure one of us has a good enough computer to host races and we could all join...... not sure if the preservation society has server files for gpl or if they even give that out ... but i used to use vroc(virtual racers online connection) not sure what its graduated to since but i would deffinately entertain some of you as i fly off the track at mach speed

I have a folder of N2003 goodies I've downloaded for the game. The folder is 4.7 gigs big.
Here are a couple of haulers I made for the game. My team is "WILD Bill Motorsports".

Nascar! I have never worked out the fasination of it (Boring to say the least) I mean its like learner drivers racing
going around and round an ovel track. F1 or even touring cars make for a much better race imho.
