Caught Step playing 2142 last night. What did you think? Did not seem like you were doing too bad.
There was also someone playing as [JiF]Joe/Dirt
We use to have a Joe Dirt JiF member. Was it him or did one of you use a new name?

It was a little hard to get back into, the pace is so frantic!
Once I got back into the groove I did alright.
Actually outscored you once!

I got two promotions though, they seem to come much
easier with this mod.
I'm maxing out the assault so that I can revive and have
the heavier weapon...I'm one unlock away from not
having a pop-gun anymore.

Have you upgraded your support weapon yet Grimp?

I think I have all the support stuff you can get. Maybe missing a detector thingy, but that might be a squad leader thing.
I have only used the assault once or twice and sometimes when I get revived I somehow end up with somebody else's assault pack.
If you want kills assault is the way to go. Even the basic assault gun will get you way more kills than any of the support or engineer stuff.
I am going to try assault sooner or later.
I play mainly support and engineer. I feel better helping out my squad than trying to get kills because I am just not very good at overall kills.
I have been using the stationary guns to shoot the Titans guns out which for some reason I find fun.
If I am squad leader I prefer to capture a point and stay there to defend. Usually the commander if he is awake sends me somewhere else though.
If the whole team is not working on caps your pretty much have to run from point to point.

Actually, the assault route I took has the med/revive kit which is my contribution
rather than going soley for kills...which, given recent performance I should
probably back-burner

That was fun last night when you and I were fighting for that one cap, I bet
we drove them nuts!!

Yep, I think we were at least annoying them a lot. Was a fun little battle. I was waiting for them to find my spawn and blow it up.

I joined the server you was playing on Step and I can honestly say I like the Titan mode better. At one time last night there was 6 of us playing on the Wolf gaming server last night with Step and Smuckers. Shuck, Joe Dirt and there was another Jiffer and I was on Merlincats until it crashed and then we went to the Wolf server.

Grimp, I think you need to turn up you mic a little bit as I could hear you clearly but when there was shooting or other noises around like the waler moving I could hardly hear you. Other then that you was coming in clear and could understand you.

Okay I will try and remember to turn it up before I go in next time.
Seems to me I can't hear others hardly at all either.
The Merlin Cats server seems to have major lag for me on and off. Maybe I am too far away from it.

Merlincats has TS and the voip for their servers. I need to set down and figure out why my headset wont work and fix the prob so I can use them.

Okay, okay I guess I should use TS. I created a BF2142 channel on the JiF TS server.
