That's a valid observation for this primarily 1942 player. The closest I've been to this new style of BF was the 1943 release. And even that just seemed like a free-for-all each game, albeit in a gorgeous setting. I've had multiple instances of people teaming up with me to take objectives in BF3 and overall having a very fun experience each game and map I play.
