Re: Great email!
This looks like a scam to me if you didn't order one. Chances are when they ask for conformation they will either ask for a shipping/processing charge or for some personal information. Be VERY VERY careful with this.
Re: Great email!
lol, I can totally see why you would think that, but it's not a scam. I did pre-order the iPhone 4S last Friday. I was a crazy person and got up at 3:30AM, after an hour and a half I finally got through and was able to order (the site was kinda busy). I got this email right after I ordered to confirm it. I'm just getting excited and wondered if anyone else had ordered one. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on the shipment notification!

Re: Great email!
Good for you Mike! This just makes me depressed.
New iPhones, new computers.
I guess I will be stuck in the middle ages for a while longer.
Good thing for our BF42 server!!!

Don't worry, there is always Apple Security!
"UPDATE 09/07/11: San Francisco Police have begun looking into what role officers played in a search by Apple for a missing unreleased iPhone. Police did, in fact, threaten Sergio Calderón that they would come back with a search warrant if he did not consent to a search, then instead allowed Apple employees to search his house. Lt. Troy Dangerfield, of the San Francisco Police Department, told CNET today that an internal investigation has begun into determining how officers assisted two Apple security employees in their search."

You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Re: Great email!
I got mine at noon. Love it! I also grabbed a Lifeproof case from Best Buy Friday. The commercial is a bit silly, but I've seen some reviews and it's highly rated.

Re: Great email!
I don't worry nearly as much about my phone as I did with the other case. I'm still very careful with it, but I'm no longer worried it might get damaged if something does happen.
