I picked up a pair of scorpion black brasers. They are suppose to give a +4 to AC.
The thing is when I put them on I see no change on any stats.
I have been working on my Male Ranger so I believe he should not be panalized (and can not find anything showing he would be) for wearing these.
Any ideas?
thanks

Re: Armor question
AC-bonusses from different sources do not stack if they are of the same kind.
So if you got a +4 ring of protection the +4 bracers wont do a thing.
Exception is if the bonus has another name like "natural armor bonus".
Try to put all gear off and then try the bracers. Maybe you´ll find the problem this way.
I got the same problem with bonus spellpoints.
Edit:
If i remember rigth from the pnp-game, bracers of armor never stack with armor because they just give an ordinary +4 armorbonus, exactly like ordinary armor. So if you are wearing armor with a rating of 4 or higher you wont get an improvement from the bravers. Not sure, if its the same in ddo.

Re: Armor question
Here's a good link that explains it all. Der Hesse has it right.
