I think it would be cool to have a thread where the planned characters could be discussed.
Sometimes there are good suggestions from other players.
I will start with my planned warforged sorcerer.
The plan is maximum DPS with firespells and the ability to heal himself with repairspells. There should also be enough ressources for some mighty buffs.
Only thing im still not sure about are the highlevel spells. Ideas welcome.

Re: Character builds
Guys, I think we have a true D&D'er here!
Warforged Sorcerer does sound awesome.
I want to make a Monk because it's cool to fight with your fists. Probably a Halfling Dark Monk. So save those wrist wrap drops you don't want!

Re: Character builds
While a Warforged Sorcerer does sound cool, I think you are fogetting your gimping your sorcerer class by being Warforged. They are -2 wis, and -2 cha and cha is the primary stat for sorcery. It determines your save DC for opponents saves vs your spells and affects the number of spell points.
You want to play some other race typically but if this is your thing then forget what I just said. Often, it is cool to go against the grain .
Personally I love the combo how it sound

Re: Character builds
You are are absolutely right Gib.
My first idea was a human because of that, but then i noticed, that the warforged sorcerer gives the amazing ability to heal himself, because warforged are healed with the repair spells and not with the healing spells. Healing spells are for priests only, but the repair spells are for sorcerers and wizards.
No other wizard or sorcerer can do that.
And i am losing only one point of spellpower for this great advantage. I think its worth it.
By the way....the bonus on con and the warforged toughness gives round about 70 bonus hitpoints. And thats very much for a spellcaster.
Other idea was to build a warforged mage, because he needs intelligence. But the mage doesnt get the big amount of spellpoints the sorcerer gets. But it would still be worth a try because it doesnt have the problem you mentioned. I don´t know how many spellpoints are needed for good gameplay. Maybe the next character, if this one fails.
I think this could be a sorcerer who is much more selfsufficient then all the other spellcasters.
@Uncle Stinky: For p&p i love monks, because they don´t rely on magical weapons and other hard to get stuff. I typically crossclass them with sorcerers for some fighting buffs.
