My PC would not boot this AM. It would stick on the BIOS screen or go past the BIOS screen and leave me a blank page. After consulting with my son who keeps me straight on such things, I began unplugging devices starting with the external one.
Printer - no dice
Mouse - booted right up
So assuming it boots again, I may have lucked out.

Plugged the old mouse into the same USB port as before and the PC boots just fine. Another mystery from the dawn of time......
