Hi guys,
I am having some problems with IE on my laptop, I think I have some kind of virus or malware but I cannot get rid of it.
Basically every time I open my browser and click on a link I get redirected to a random website - it can be anything from a kitchen design company in the US to a youtube video of Dirty Sanchez (like Jackass but welsh) playing paintball tennis.
I have Sophos AV installed and I have tried AVG SuperAntispyware and Malwarebtes but none of these have detected anything much less removed it.
I cannot install a new browser as it is a work computer so I am stuck with IE and Windows XP
Any thoughts?
Cheers
ZtF

Hi Zouga,
Try this it's free and I have used it to remove some gremlins myself
Spybot - Search and Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Copy and paste the web address into google and see what comes up. Maybe somebody has the same problem and has a solution on a forum.

PM Badger. He knows a lot about this kind of stuff. Have you tried to restore? I fixed a similar problem with my PC that included a restore as well as AV programs.
Good luck.
