Duke Nukem Forever is coming (finally). Graphics don't look that great but Duke has always made up for it with game play and attitude....

I have been looking forward to this since it was first announced years and years ago! I remember playing the first one for hours with friends laughing at all the 'stuff' .

Oh dear - this game has not been received well:

US game website 1Up said the game was one "not even the most maladjusted 13-year-old could love"
IGN described it as a "muddled, hypocritical exercise in irritation" although compensated for by "solid shooting mechanics"
and Gamespot UK said "it turns a famous gaming icon into an embarrassment".

On the plus side it does have strippers...

After reading some of the reviews I decided to wait for the $9.99 sale on steam. I really do want to play it, but I don't wanna pay full retail. As long as it gives me a taste of the original game, I'll be happy at the $9.99 price. With the poor reviews I bet it won't be long before the price is reduced drastically to generate some sales.

Just seen in the Steam Demos that this is available as a downloadable option now, if you want to try it & make up your own mind.
I was interested in seeing what the Homefront demo was like & happened to spot it!
