Re: BRINK!
I could not get the game to run at first, but then it worked after I updated my nVidia drivers.
The pace of the game is pretty hectic. Still getting used to it.

Re: BRINK!
I had to eliminate some stuff on my hard drive.
Only had like 4gb left.
I'll try to get on today and play.

Re: BRINK!
Server seems to run nice! Running coop currently although the bots tend to act like real players
As for the game, Im having los of fun with it, maps a large enough that its not instant death on spawn and theres enough time to deploy turrets. Theres some issues with the game more so for ATI gpu users. I have a couple things you can try if someones having trouble with performance.

I'm still having issues.
"No Steam contant servers are currently configured to deliver content for this game
This will be corrected soon. Please try again in a few minutes."
This is frustrating.

Finally fixed it.
Had to change my download settings location from Houston to Los Angeles.
I guess there were no servers here.

Re: BRINK!
Played a bit with Doc yesterday, can't believe how good the bots were in Coop!
We kept trying to figure out if any of them were real people
Fun game though, especially after you learn the basics.
It's like TeamFortress on steroids.

Re: BRINK!
Glad to hear that you are enjoying it.
I've seen mixed reviews, but having watched all the trailer/tutorial vids it looked like a lot of fun to me.
Especially look good on the team play front, where you benefit by playing together to combine the different characters attributes to get the job done.

Re: BRINK!
Actually, I look forward to playing some pure Coop, i.e. JiF air-breathers vs the bots.

When I started playing, I realy tricked out my character with all kinds of unique Security and Resistance gear. Then i realized it made it that much easier for the other side to see who I was. So now I'm using the plainest clothing and gear, so there might be that one second of indecision while the other guy is trying to decide if I'm friend or foe.

Re: BRINK!
So if the release date on Steam is 13th does that mean that at 1 minute past midnight tonight I can jump in to the game?
Anyone have any experience of how quickly you can get out of the blocks when they issue a release date?
Of course if they time it using European time I'd be able to start at 11 tonight!!!!!

Re: BRINK!
Woo Hoo!
I just love this game so far.
Played the 1st single player mission last night very late.
The graphics are fantastic, I was running at full HD setting & it ran really smoothly.
The game play reminded me a lot of the BF2 I've been playing lately where you need players to be different classes to help your squad. You have to be aware as much of your team members needs as killing opposing forces. I imagine this is most true for medic class to revive & heal.
Look forward to playing with fellow Jiffers tonight if anyone is around.

Re: BRINK!
so my comp has a Pent 4 HT that runs at 2.8GHz but I need a Core 2 Duo for this game - why oh why does the great Mario in the sky punish poor mortals like this!
Gav is BF2 worth getting?

Re: BRINK!
Pretty cool game, but I'm having some troubles with mah graphics card drivers D: It crashes after a while with an error saying "nVidia OpenGL driver has lost connection with the display driver - Error 8". I have the latest drivers from nVidia, so I guess I just have to wait for a patch or new drivers.
Played on our server too... but Doc kept killing me >.>
