I figured if the others are coming along for the ride we could either leave Friday late morning and drive straight through or stop at around 8 or 9pm and spend the night which would put us about 4 hours away at the most. If no one is coming along for the ride then I'll home Friday morning and then spend the night somewhere.

I figured if everyone took turns driving then it wont be so hard on everyone, thats if they want to and if not I'll drive all the way.

Anyone know much about Tournaments and how many people need to be on a team to join one? Unfortunately I may not be able to do any as it's only my friend and I that are going.

Nope, I have never been in one at a NorEaster event.

Ah, I read through all the rules and I think both CS:S and BF2 require minimum of 5 and max of 7 (with 5 playing, 2 alternates). UT2K4 seems to be only by individual person.

My friend and I finally prepaid and we are sitting in J8&9 (I'm Rhykin). Anyone let me know if you want us to move down.

Cool.

What tourney were you thinking about entering?
I think a few JiFfers wanted to be in one last year, but we did not have enough players by the cutoff date.

I would enter all of them if I could, just to have the fun but I want to try and enter the BF2 one.

I'd be up for the BF2 tourney.

Do we have to enter individually or can someone just put our group in?

I think you have to sign up with a team. We tried to set it up last time, but Hoss and Snakeeyes forsook the BDU clan and went with =0C= instead.

I dunno if I can stand the stress and I have not played BF2 in a while, but with c0mpact and his buddy we should have more than enough. I would rather be an alternate and play only if needed though. I mostly like to just squad up at the LANs with the people at the same table if possible and play.

I think you just go to: http://noreaster.lpane.net/turnies.php
On the right, I think you can just create a BF2 group and people can join it after it's created, much like the clans when you register.

Nor'Easter 2007 T-Shirt Contest
Posted 01-22-2007 by docfav[LPANE]

Hey all! We here at LPANE really do appreciate all that you as gamers do in making all our events outstanding. With that in mind, we at LPANE are giving you the Gamers a chance to go down in Nor’Easter History! You’ve seen the talk about T-Shirts for the event, and now here’s your chance to have a say!

T-SHIRT GRAPHICS CONTEST

That right. We want you guys to help make the choice on what design is used on the T-Shirt. The winner will receive a free T-Shirt (duh…) AND free admission to Nor’Easter 2007 (If you have already prepaid, it will be refunded at the event). There are rules that all the graphics must go by. NO EXCEPTIONS!

1. Must have “LPANE” and “Nor’Easter 2007” and “the date of the event” as part of the design.
2. No more that 3 colors. Any more and the price of the shirt would get out of control.
3. No profanity, nudity or dumb remarks. You know what we’re talking about.

The design will go on the BACK of the T-Shirt with the LPANE logo going on the front. The top 3 designs will be chosen by the LPANE staff privately. Once we have those, another announcement will be made and you will vote for the design that will be used. All submission must be in by Mar 1st, 2007. E-mail them to docfav@adrenalanrush.com. The top 3 designs will be posted no later than Mar 12th for you to vote on. Voting will close on Mar 26th and the winning design will be chosen and announced to all! Prepays for the shirts will then go on sale to everybody. Shirts will be made available for sale at the event as well (but of course the price will go up a couple of bucks).

Good luck to all and let’s see those designs!
