Come on Zouga BF2 has jets! It's nothing new. If you like jets you should try the AIX2 mod of BF2, now there is some serious hardware you can fly in that.
Apaches, mini Birds good chopper flying
There are so many different types of planes you can get your hands on it's beautiful. I never used to be a flyer until I got my hands on BF2 custom games & mods, but all those lovely fast jets & dog fighting in jets is just awesome. Oh & then there's the different weapons they carry. I just hope they are going to bring some of that stuff to the table with BF3
Oh & did I mention hovering in a Harrier & picking off targets with your Maverick ground attack missiles.
I just hope that it gets a full coop mode, not just based on squad missions but being able to play the maps with bot enemies in free play.

Hey Gav - long time!!

I don't have BF2 and have never played it but there were jets in the DC and EoD mods for '42 so they are not entirely new to me. I have mostly een playing BFBC2 on my PS3 so rthats why I am excited about Jets - the only aircraft on PS are the helicopters and whilst fun you need a co-pilot to make the most of them.

not so sure if my upgraded comp will be able to handle BF3 so I may be restricted to console.

When are we all gonna have a reunion on the server (get hUTCHIE, Mini and all the others together again)

Should be renamed as "Commentary with Captain Obvious".

Nothing new, though. :(

Really pleased they are doing a Karkand version
It's one of my favourite maps on BF2, I guess the chap is right about it being the linear map thing. You have to take the 1st flag then move on to the next. The team focuses on 1 flag at a time rather than being all over the map trying to take flags, then losing them as they move on to the next.
Thanks for the post CowHide, it made good reading
