My diecast collection
OK Some of you asked about my diecast collection.
Here's a sample.

Looks like you have a nice investment there.
I used to collect Hot Wheels but ended up giving them to my boys when they were around 5 or 6.

Wow! that's impressive. The only thing I managed to amass in my lifetime (so far) was a bunch of useless pokemon cards lol

Re: My diecast collection
Thanks Blood for the kind words. The diecasts are about 20 some years of collecting.
Even some of the stuff on my train layout goes back about 40 years to when I was a kid.
I'm also working on an ho slot car track. Some of those cars date back to the mid sixties.
I have grandstands and lots of buildings to go on that layout. I'll post some pics of that stuff when I get the chance.

Wow that looks real cool major.
My father in law is a bus spotter! Yes he travels the country ticking of buses in a book.
BUT he also collects the die cast models & his collection is a bit like yours, shelf after shelf of them. They look really good togethar as a collection.
I just think about the value of the collection

Re: My diecast collection
that's awsome Major. You should call the Pickers from Iowa and see if they want to buy your collection when you are ready to sell. They have that show called American Pickers on the History channel I think.

Nice collection you have there. I have a nice collection of jackets that are #3 and #8. In my house it all rolls around Earnhardt mostly #3 but have some of Jr's #8 Bud stuff.

Re: My diecast collection
I used to have my stuff in every room of the house. Now that I'm married, it's relegated to the basement. Check out my gallery for more basement pics.
