World of Warcraft on sale

I know most of you probably never will take the plunge and play WoW, but in case you were considering it.... The "Shattering" occurred yesterday which has essentially made the game all new...way to much to list here. The expansion comes out on the 7th which adds even more stuff. $5 for World of Warcraft (original)
$5 for The Burning Crusade (exp 1)
$10 for Wrath of the Liche King (exp 2)
$40 for Cataclysm (released Dec 7th)

So it's basically the same cost as a new console game. The install is now done with a streaming downloader so you can play while it downloads. Come on, you know you wanna see what's so great about this game. First month is included in the price of the game. If anyone does wanna sign up, please let me know before you do. There's a refer-a-friend program and we both get some nice perks from it.

I have been interested in trying this out for ages, I have a sample disk at home with one free month already loaded but tbh I just do not have the time to commit to playing it, not just because of personal matters but because I have so many other games to complete and only get limited play-time

Plus I resent having to pay for a game that I have paid for - its also the reason I went for a PS3 over an XBox - once I buy it I don;t want to have to pay to subscribe to play online

The subscription is tough to swallow I know. But when you consider how much time, effort, and resources are put into this game you realize why it's there. The game world is just huge! It's nothing like a fps. Anyway, if you ever want to give it a shot let me know. One of the refer a friend perks is triple xp when playing together.

Thanks for the heads up Mike. I planned on picking the expansions up this weekend (black friday sale), but this is even better. I still have the original from back in the day. I will be making a new character and starting from scratch. Do you still play??

umm..pretty much every day! lol If you wanna get the xpansions PM me your email and I'll send you a refer a friend thing. The triple XP bonus is a huge boost to leveling speed. I think it will work on upgrades as well as new accounts. I play on the Arygos server.
