BG42 1.7 released

Tried to join their server but got message "Map not found", map name was "4005-HANNUT STEEL",
maybe one of the new(?). Checked their homepage and saw that the 1.7 was released today.

Is our server staying 1.6 or will it continue to work if we download 1.7?

I have PM'd Mike asking him to upgrade to 1.7. If you have installed 1.7 it will not work on a 1.61 server

It looks amazing! I'll have to join you guys when I gather up some cash for more memory and a new video card. I tried it last week (1.6) and it was impossible to play but looked awesome. I can see why everyone is flippin' over BG42.

Working on it, but at getting on for an hour for a 500 meg download it's gonna take some time & I'm away for the weekend.

it took me 25 mins to donwload all 5 parts and 10 mins to install so 1 hour is plenty of time:-)

Yes I downloaded all 5 parts simultaneously and it only took about 50 mins

I took a quick look in my program-directory(windows XP) to find an uninstall-program for BG42 but didn't find any.
How do I remove the old version in a good way?

Surely the new version just overights the old one?
