I also have two confessions about BF:
I played the game for several years without trying the multiplayer online game. I only played on my own with the hardest settings :)
OK, I played not every day and sometimes forr half a year I played not.

And the second is:
I never understood, what the voice of the american soldier says, when the enemy takes a flag. "The enemy is ...ing". What does he say? Help!

:)

Yes, he says "The enemy is advancing!"

But why does the Japanese guy sometimes yell "Yoplait!"

I went into the settings and changed everything to English a long time ago, so no translation issues!

Funnily enough Alex, like yourself, I played single player mode for 3 years. Then I got internet and dug out the cd, and it was a whole new game.

My confession is that on the very first time I went on a server I got banned within 5 minutes. :(
I somehow kamikazied the b52 bomber into the enemies main base and got an instant ban.
 That's shameful, but I was a complete noob and didn't have a clue what "no spawn attacks" meant lol

First time on a co-op server, I had no idea what co-op mode was, so there's me gunning down every bot in town, :shoot: thinking I'm owning every bf player to ever come online. Even the bot names on the scoreboards didn't arouse my suspicions lol. I was an elite noob :pada:

Funniest thing I saw on the JiF server was on Anzio, Italian kid comes online and starts chatting to the bots in Italian, cos he saw their names werre from Italy. I'm ashamed to admit I never told him they were only bots, enjoying myself too much as his language became more expressive when he was being ignored by his Italian compatriots.

someone who could post the quotes the germans are saying? (i mean exact what he/they are saying) the only quote i know is "schnell los!" :D dosent that men "fast/quick, go!"?

In one off the SW trailers you can hear an german solider say "Jhetz geht los!" wich means "here we go" or "let's go!"

(sources: one of my classmates, and angry german kid translation) :P

Trophy, nice career ;-)
I started on the noob server, because it was the only one, where my copy of BF was working. You need no Punkbuster there. It is a complete other world than the JiF-Server.

I like the story of the italian kid very much :D

Gnome, I can post everything they say, for example

"Einverstanden" means "roger that"
"Wir haben Maenner verloren" means "we lost men"

"It is well that war is so terrible, or we should grow too fond of it."
