I did buy Borderlands and am having fun with it. Anyone try the multiplayer? I'd be willing to join in with my level 20 soldier. The weapons in this game are really cool-- it's like Diablo II on an alien world. My favorite right now is my incendiary sniper rifle -- nothing like landing a head shot that also sets the mob on fire!

I'll have to re-install this game but I would love to get back into it. I know they fixed some of the issues that were killing the online before so it should be easier to set up multiplayer games. The game is great, but they could have made the multiplayer a lot easier and more effective if it wasn't 4 players only. Also the arena fights could have been developed into larger fights. The game has a wonderful style and fun gameplay, plus its fun looting new weapons!

If you're still down to play i'll reinstall tonight and hopefully find time to jump in a game with ya :D

I have registered and downloaded Steam.

But lets say I bought Borderlands now. When I then get my new computer, I download Steam to the new one, and login to my account. Can I then download Borderlands for free, or will I have to buy it again?

Yup

Once you buy it you can re-download it with the account you used to buy it.

You can also back up the game

Didn't buy it, 15 Euro's for TF2, so I bought that one instead :)

I have played the game for a while and enjoy it with friends. I'm not a big fan of the open servers. Myself and PFC Doc completed all but 1 level together. The DLC's are decent. You have to be a certain level to access them though. :shoot:
