Converting files for the iphone

Post by [JiF]Lt Gav »

Hi Chaps.

My wife asked if I knew of any software which would convert her existing files which she has on her Sony walkman to a format she can load them on to her iphone.
I think the walkman uses mpeg file format & the iphone well I do not know as I've never touched anything apple!
Anyone able to give me a heads up on what software is out there?
Wife very impressed that I can do this sort of thing with my gaming bud's

What kind of file is it? Video or audio?

There are a lot programs that can covert files for the iPhone. If they're video files you can try this one: http://www.xilisoft.com/iphone-video-converter.html I've used it and it works well...very easy.

I've been using Any Video Converter for awhile now and it can convert a lot of file formats into ipod/iphone formats. It's free so no need to worry about any trials

Yes it was video files.

Thanks very much for the info. I have emailed her the links so she can take a look & give them a try.
