It's that simple do you ask permission or forgiveness when doing something your not sure you should be ??

Agreed it depends on how much trouble I am going to get in and/or how mad/stuburn I am at the time. So its both :D

If I know I can do it even w/o permission then permission and then forgiveness.

If I'm not sure I could do it w/o permission then just forgiveness.

But I'm not married. ;)

When you have to ask for permission you wind up taking grief during the process, explaining yourself, justifying your request...etc. Then after the event is over you'll wind up taking grief again when you are reminded of the fact that the only reason the event took place was because someone kindly granted premission.

Shag it. If your going to take some grief might as well minimize the amount. Forgiveness - then you only have to face the music once. :wink:
