Battlefield's persian carpets.

Post by [JiF]War Trophy »

Last night a few of us were chatting about anomalies that people experience in game, I've posted pictures before of graphic glitches that occur on my screen from time to time, but for newer people who may not have seen them, here's one shot from last night -

What I call the Persian Carpet effect:

Not anomalies, but a few mildly interesting shots from the server...
Daterminaytah finds a unique vantage point on Cassino - it's a ledge about 3inches wide and sloped downwards:

Glad you not afraid of heights Dater. Caught his muzzle flash, which looks more like the warm glow of a distant sun than a muzzle discharge. (Btw this is not a glitch, and I will give 100 peanuts to anyone else who posts a screenshot of themselves successfully accessing the same ledge. It's not easy!)
Leaning precariously over same ledge:

Man Overboard!!! I got the timing perfect in this shot lol:

Never seen the Carpet thing, shame you cannot fly on it

As for Dater, well he does like living on the edge (I know, I know I'm sorry but I couldn't stop myself typing it)

I have some funny shots of floating tanks that Ill try to dig out.

20-30 knots minimum. :)

Actually, someone was driving the carrier near the sea flag on Midway and you know how sometimes the ships go under a bit when they get near a flag? I think the carrier did this while I was by the flag capturing it and next thing I know I'm skipper on the S.S. High'nDry.
