Figured you would have enjoyed the initial radio broadcast of it when you heard it live, or did it just scare you so you've blocked it out?[JiF][AARP]Grimp wrote:I have watched a lot of Sci-fi movies over the years and the original "War of the Worlds" is probably one of my favorites.
Maybe not the best I have seen, but one I never forgot and have watched many times over the years. I think for its time it was great. Another one would be the old version of "The Time Machine".
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

BTW Each of these classic flicks are now available on high quality DVD, the content is still iffy but the DVDs are made of the finest plastic.
like I said - it is way too tough to pick a fav when u lump ALL forms into one category under the umbrella of "scifi"....

I agree, heck if you just created a category of Future Cop you could fill a list pretty quick. Runaway, Judge Dredd, Demolition Man, Robo Cop, Outland, Blade Runner ... and while one or two of those movies might even be good - the rest will star Sylvester Stallone.[JiF]LtWaterboy wrote:

THX 1138. Almost painful to sit through, but worth mentioning.
