Does anyone have any experience setting up a bluetooth headset in Windows 7? I'm about to give up on this, as the one thing I can't stand more in life is searching the Google for Windows drivers (I think I'm on hour 6 or 7 of this... though fortunately, not all at the same time).
I picked up a cheap Samsung bluetooth headset for like 3 bucks (for real) online and it works fine on my Mac. Connects up and I can use it for sound as well as a mic. Windows, on the other hand, refuses to recognize it as a headset and just connects to it and that's about it.
I've read about needing Broadcom bluetooth drivers, and when I go to install their little software update thing, it sits there on "Detect Bluetooth Device" and then never goes anywhere after that. My bluetooth is internal, and I have the headset switched on.
Hardware is a Macbook running Windows 7 (I dual boot). It's the latest model that came out last Fall. Any ideas?
