Screenshots in BF1942 seems to be in a format(.tga) I can't open .
Anyone know any good free viewer? And of course I would like to convert to some more common format.

Re: .tga-viewer?
Adobe Photoshop will open .tga files, and I'm assuming that any fairly decent image editor (Corel, Illustrator etc) will be able to open them too.
Once you've opened them in one of these apps, you can re-save them in a more standard format (bmp, jpeg, png etc)

Try Irfanview.
This is what I use.
Opens most formats including tga files and will allow you to save as JPG and specify the quality / size

I use Irfanview as well for nearly all my image fies - it also has a batch converter so you can convert your whole screenshot folder to .jpg or .bmp files in one go
You can also use
ABC - Advanced Batch Converter to change the files but I don't think you can view them
