The pipes are(was) conating water or that substance they used to tru make the nukes. Thanks by the Norwegian/Brittish guys destroyed it the war ended without a nuke from axis. Remember, Dice couldnt make big maps, because of the possibility of crashes and boring searching for enemies. The base lays on top of a rough "cliff", and theres a small lake down there. The easiest way up there was a bridge and a curve road. A small shortcutpath was almost vertical! Wonder how the heroes got up there..
And btw, phillippe lives in (or close by) Mimoyesques, the V3 air-pressured cannon. Wonder if he can upload some pics from there..
