Good Luck.

Another story. I enlisted in late 1973 or early 1974 after I did not get drafted on a delayed enlistment program. Which meant I got to pick a class A school and would go to boot camp at a date for which you would complete boot camp just before the class A school started.
Anyway 4 of my friends enlisted around the same time. They all went in before me. I like to think it was only because I did better than them on the tests and got a guaranteed school  Back to the point of it. I had to report to boot camp in September of 74. About two weeks before I left I got a letter from one of my friends who was in boot camp. The only thing the letter said was "You'll be sorry!" That pretty much scared the [Grimp] outta me. Two weeks later I was very sorry :D
Boot camp in the Coast Guard at least back then was no piece of cake. Good news is I got over it in 4 years

Good luck, be safe and thanks!

On a side note, Grimp, it took you 4 years to complete Coast Guard bootcamp?!? How many times did you get held back?
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

You'll do fine. If Grimp can get through basic, then you should be able to. :)

I'm sorry I don't read all the posts like I use too or play BF much anymore. I take it you are off to boot camp though. It's a great decision that you will cherish, once you aren't in boot camp anymore. :) Good luck!
