Re: Wireless
i used to have one bout 4-5 years ago and was totaly disapointed.
1st. batteries keep on been empty
2nd. total nonsense if u go to lan parties cause most of the time ur mouse interferes with othe peoples wireless stuff.
for the last 3 years ive been using my old keyboard(its about 8 years old) and its amazing never had issues with it
and also have a normal wire mouse from logitech. a simple one without all those useless button, only lef tright and the scrolling button

Re: Wireless
I still have a logitech G7 and quit using it because the batteries finally quit and i had to buy their odd looking battery.
The wireless did work well for me and the advantage of putting the mouse on top of desk while using joystick was nice.
Mobility is a big plus.

I now have this mouse and really like it.

A keyboard is usually stationary and i don't see an advantage between wired or wireless.
Maybe someone will post and educate us on the advantages of wireless versus wired.

Re: Wireless
I have tried two different logitech models and an IOGear one.
It was alway something going wrong with all of em: Batttery issues, or disconnects.
I have gone back to wired

Re: Wireless
I use a logitech at work!
Never had any problems with the wireless connection & the mouse has some extra thumb buttons which can be programmed to game commands.
BUT the keyboard is poor. The keys have become really stiff to press can't touch type & have to give a firm push all the time.

Re: Wireless
Im not sure of my home one but I have a logitech one that is a few years old(wireless) and works great. Any wireless that uses batteries means you will need to buy a batter charger and rechargeables :0
I have a gaming wireless laser mouse from Razer - the Mamba: http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-mamba/
The Mamba comes with a recarching cradle(no batteries!) that draws power from your puter' via a usb connection. Its also the highest precision mouse available
I think they are making dockable rechargeable keyboards now, logitech makes very good mice and keyboards.
The main advantage is to use them like I am - sit in easy chair recliner, put a board across the arms and frag away Also good on couch when pc hooked to large hd tv.

Re: Wireless
Well for a wireless keyboard you need to make sure it is active just as soon as the motherboard gets power. I have tried several different ones over the years and always had to fall back onto a wired keyboard to enter the bios. I use a lighted keyboard I got from one of my sponsors and I think its called Logisys and I use a Logitech MX Revolution for general work and my Logitech G7 for gaming and both are rechargeable with there cradles. If you never enter the bios of your PC then Logitech makes a couple of real good ones I have used the Wireless Keyboard K350 and I liked it.
