Post by [JiF]Sgt. hUTCHIE »

Hey Jiffers,

Its me the shooting movie star, back with the best of all the funny scenes, impossible escapes and jaunty japes with my bullet proof back pack.
All part of a days work in the [JiF] special services squad.

And the good news is I've still got 2 vids coming soon.

1. How to be a [JiF] infantryman - guide to AA use & misuse, base storming, pistol whipping, oooo errr exciting or wot?
2. Bring it on you bad boyz... 3 vs hUTCHIE - you can't lose !!!

Stay tuned & Enjoy

hUTCHIE.

Hi Cesar - Pretty basic stuff.

Fraps and Microsoft Movie Maker (Free with Windows XP Media Centre edition but a bit limited in resolution settings, etc).

Fraps costs $37 for the unlocked version which is a bit expensive but it works well and includes lifetime updates / support.

You can get by with the free version of fraps but the recording time is limited and not automatic. I tried this and it might be ok for planned stunts but for live action you really have to be recording all the time with minimal impact on your gaming. There is no rewind when you take out three 1337'ers!

I point Fraps files to a fast dedicated SATA drive. Fraps uses about 4GB for 3 minutes worth of raw footage. I set the capture to full screen and the frame rate to 60 to match the screen refresh rate (any less and it gets a bit juddery - not good for gameplay).
