Can I install my cd's on different pc's?

Post by [JiF]War Trophy »

Over christmas and new year I'll be in the USA for a holiday. I'm wanting to play BF42 while I'm there so will install it on my friends pc (the reason is that I'm gonna be able to pwn all you American players 'cos I'll have a uber-low ping rate  muahahaha I'll be staying practically next door to the server so I'm even optimistic about killing Gib on the odd occasion :viva: ).

Can I use my own current installion cd's, that I bought here in Europe, or am I going to have to buy the Anthology again in the US?
Just worried about "cd key in use" issues or PAL/ntsc compatibility issues etc.

I think as long as you're not logged in elsewhere, you can still use the same CD's over here. :)

Melon is right.
You should be able to load it just like a fresh install.

War no problems in using them in 2 different machines.
I have 1 of the set permanently in 1 of the drives on my work desktop & another is always in the drive on my laptop.
I have always used cd's 1, 3 or 4 as these are the initial installation cd's for each version whereas cd 2 is part 2 of the vanilla.
Whereabouts are you going to, you lucky chap?

Gonna be in the Detroit area, Mi.
Planning on bumping into Melon farmer for a couple of ales too, at his band rehearsal perhaps or wherever. Last year he mentioned a couple of local brews that should be worth a try!

Ohhhhhh WT's aim is going to be all screwed up!

No leading the targets (atleast not much anyways)
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.
