amazing skills of the bots
Playing BG phillipines as allied, and no sign of the axis team. But continually see messages saying so and so "is no more".
After a boring 15 minutes I grab a plane to go look for the bots and their battleship. Eventually find it parked half way up a hill.
The bots kept spawning and sliding off the deck into the water, where they eventually all drowned lol

Love that War, great cap.
The bots on BG42 are so unpredictable, sometimes real hotshots other times they just walk /run right by you.
Last night I saw a funny where 2 US bots were running up against a fence, their faces pressed hard in to it. I could hear grenades being thrown on the other side so went round to check & saw the Germans running at the same fence, but 1 bot was trying to nade the US soldiers & was killing his team mates, having no effect on the 2 US chaps.

Those darn bots in the planes are pretty accurate, you'd swear Gib was the pilot.

The BG42 Bots seem very different:
They are more accurate marskman.
They use grenades more and are a lot better at killing tanks
They listen a lot better when you yell "Bail Out" to make them leave a vehicle

Should have kicked the bot for TK'ing.[JiF]Lt Gav wrote:but 1 bot was trying to nade the US soldiers & was killing his team mates, having no effect on the 2 US chaps.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Re: amazing skills of the bots
One thing I've seen on Kharkov: Two bots try to cross the western bridge in tanks and start to block each others way. They finally end up stucked in the middle of the bridge, nearly unable to move. That gave me enogh time to run to the next ammo box, get a bunch of expacks and blow the hell out of them! :lol

I have noticed bots just bailing out of tanks for no reason leaving them lying around to jump in.[JiF]Sgt Shellshocked wrote:On the Paderborn map I was in AA gun and a bot who I was not shooting at bailed right next to me!

Yeah, strange that, eh? But mostly handy when you need a weapon to deal out some gratuitious use of violence.[JiF]Lt Gav wrote:I have noticed bots just bailing out of tanks for no reason leaving them lying around to jump in.
And I love the way you fire directly at your target when in a tank, no need to lob the shot or anything!
But those bots are certainly deadly marksman, I'm wondering if Mikes got the bot AI set at 100% - go play a round of Stalingrad against the bots, after the first few minutes, you'll learn to never stand still for more than half a second. And don't bother ducking behind a corner, they'll stalk you and kill you. Very creepy.

Re: amazing skills of the bots
I saw a bot a couple of days ago who had managed to land his plane upside down. The thing as jerking about all over the place as he was still thrashing the engine full throttle.
