Since some of you are having problems installing Battlefield 1942 and the Battlegroup42 mod, I´ve decided to write some simple installation instruction.
1) Install Battlefield 1942 game.
2) If you own any of the XPacks (Road to Rome, Secret Weapons) install them in the following order
2 a) Road to Rome
2 b) Secret Weapons
3) install the patch battlefield_1942_patch_v1.6.19.exe
4) install the patch battlefield_1942_incremental_patch_v1.6_to_v1.61b
5) install the EA Matchmappack "bf1942_match_mappack_v1.0" (link coming soon)
6) install Battlegroup42 1.6 Full Client (make sure you have all three files properly downloaded!)

Execute them in EXACTLY this order !
7) Install the v1.61 patch released on Sep 14, 2009.
Some other tips:
If you´re having problems installing the files, shut down your anti virus program PRIOR to installation. There seem to be some AV programs causing problems when installing exe files. We are NOT responsible for corrupted files, all files in our download section are fully functional.
If possible, do NOT use download managers !!! As ridiculous as it may sound, it´s a fact that some download managers actually screw up files during download or change file names !
We are also not responsible for screwed installations of Battlefield 1942. Our installers don´t change ANYTHING inside the main bf1942 folder, they simply copy the mod files into the mod folder. No files are deleted, moved or overwritten.
Also, do NOT use no-cd files or trainer programs. We take no responsibility for problems caused by such illegal programs.
