Thanks guys for recommedning me for membership, I really appreciate it!! Thanks for all the posts guys, you ARE a JAR of NuTs! lol. I got a kick out of them. I got my invite to join today and Tissue man said it might be a bit yet before they can get me setup to see the rest of the forums and download the JAR so I can put on the tags.

I got to say that being on TS this past month has been a real hoot. The amount of joking/laughter is great. I was laughing at all the comments about "Gib's airborne, everyone hide!" comments. lol. You guys crack me up.

BTW, I have been thinking of making a video of my game play to share and doing a step by step voice over(if possible?) explanation of some of my moves/secrets that I've learned over years of play if you guys are interested. I'll have to find the forum for tips and post what I know too - Im always happy to help. Example: The other day ShellShocked was curious how I took him out so fast from the front as we had a head on encounter in tanks. You can kill any tank 2 frontal shots if you hit its' "inside thigh" as I call it. The location is the inner part of the track right where the track meets the ground. If you do it right that is, it is a hard shot at times. I told ShellShocked and 5 min later he used it on me lol - nicely done my young Padawan. I used to conduct fighter pilot training in the DMB clan so if anybody is interest anytime in getting on the training server I'd be more than happy to do that too if anyone wants me too.

Anyway, I can't wait to get me tags on!

I just saw this topic now so ...

I'm a frenchy who love this game and really appreciate your sevrer.
I discovered it (the server:-) around february this year I think.

The game I played it in 2006/07 mainly on test quinn & soc phillies.
I did not played in 2008, so my total experience is around 1 year half/2 years

I like video games but I am not a "gamer" aware of alll hacks, cheats and buzz of this world....:-)
I mean I guess it helps to know how to increase ram speed of our computer or optimize settings ..but I don't know s.... about that :-)
bf1942 is the only online game I have ever played
(and a bit of strategy games on a special mac server "gameranger", age of empire & mainly star war galactic battleground ..awesome strategy game to me)
On the other hand I started playing video games with the first ones (around 1976 -)
so I am experienced in video games but not in online game world;

I'am "old"(:-) ... around 39 and I live in south of france.
English is not my native language but I speak/understand it far better than 99 % of others french !!!
I hope that some guys in here will help me to set "ts" in order to discover this whole new dimension of game...
I have an emac, I guess camera and micro are all integrated in the "thing" !! :-)

Eventually I would be interested in :

1- setting TS
2- joining your clan
3 - playing some real "matchs" tournament...


I don't have joystick so I use plane very rarely and only for transport ..almost never attack .. I would crash .. :-)
..this is why I do my best with nades, thomson and m10 !!! ... :-)

Well I have lot of other center of interests like travels, music, cinema, hollistic medicines etc ...
