So what does everyone think of it so far?

It took awhile to get on a server (EA's having problems) but it is definitely a blast! Wicked fun! And it looks absolutely great.
The new renditions of old maps is really really cool. Like a new set of tires.
The new layout of IWO JIMA and GUADALCANAL takes some getting used to. These are the only maps I've played.
Hopefully I'll get on WAKE ISLAND soon.
Haven't gotten a chance to fly yet. The tank controls are a little weird for me and I don't like the automatic 3rd person view once you get in.
Have to see if I can change that.
Over the course of the round watching destructible environments unfold is cool. Concrete bunkers stay intact but most everything else is destructible.
When I got sniped from an area full of trees I simply mowed down the trees. Sniper no longer had cover for the rest of the round....
I thought the idea of no ammo boxes would bother me but the way they did it came out great and works. It doesn't feel noobish nor cheap.
You get a set of 3 nades at spawn and after that it slowly regenerates 1 at a time till next spawn. Didn't time it but it seemed timed well.
Now I just need some friends to squad up with to wreak some JiF havok.... *cough*

The challenge for 43 million kills starts officially on the 10th. Good thing cuz as of yesterday
the 360 had 3.5 million kills and the PS3 had 189...errrrrr .

But yes this is really really worth the $15 download. Cannot wait for the PC version!

I downloaded the trial of this on the XBox 360 yesterday....and wow was it fun!!! I was playing Wake Island, running twards the airport flag when bombers flew overheard and completely destroyed the buildings in front of me. My jaw literally hit the floor and I had to stop and see if there were anymore coming! My wife was even impressed at how the game played. The details and the constantly changing battlefield really change the feel from 42. It was very impressive! I haven't bought it yet, but I probably will!

Any idea what the specs will be required for the PC version? It is using the frostbite engine if that helps.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
