Sun Virtualbox

Post by Graham Cracka »

I'm having Vista-64 issues and was wondering if running a VM like Virtualbox might help. Does anyone have experience with Virtualbox? I'm thinking about running Win2K on it. Or does anyone have a better/easier suggestion?

Bueller?....Bueller?.................Bueller?

Anybody ever use Virtualbox? I tried it on Vista with no sucess, now I'm trying in Ubuntu 9.04. I regret ever buying a new computer with Vista. Should have gone with XP.

No virtualbox, but have used MS Virtual Server and VMVare.
Both have free versions.

They work well, but you need a lot of RAM.

Vmware virtual server is good for free, or if you want, download the trial of Workstation and buy/download a serial. Its amazing software and is recommended. You can snapshot your VMs, choose how many cores they can have and all sorts.
