cheating

I've been accused of cheating several times on the jiff server. Do others here get accused also. What's funny is there are alot of players clearly better than I. Any thoughts?

Yes this happens.

From what I remember Dan you are pretty hot in a vehicle and someone I am wary of when infantry.

I get accused of cheating rarely but sometimes I will come up against a good player 5 times in a row and win each time. I have found (excepting Jifers) that generally the more skilful the player the worse they take it.

In they end some accuse you of cheating because they can't believe they are so unlucky.

I tend to just mock them by telling them about Jif special weapons.

e.g. How did you kill me from over there - Jif Special forces Sten sniper scope.
e.g. How did you get there so fast - Jif turbo skates.
e.g. How come I can't kill you - Jif bullet proof backpack

I have to agree with Sarge here, it usually is a player of better than average skill who winds up taking it personal when someone gets the better of them by skill alone and not cheating.

The JiF server is one of the best in regards to keeping a watchful presence in the event of a less than skillful player and should anyone be found using anything less than natural talent they will be called on it.

I have acused a player for cheating once. That was because he sniped me in 1 shot while i was in a plane....

I've shot a plane down from the windmill on bocage with the sniper rifle.
The bullet passed through the cockpit & straight in to the pilots head
But seriously, I was amazed I just took aim & had a shot for fun. Couldn't believe it when the plane blew up & I got the kill credit.

hutchie and i always have fun when people call us cheaters. and when they keep on calling me a hacker i tell them to also switch on the double damage mode...... just pres alt+F4

@ ceasar: ur are talking about getting killed in the plane without it exploding , right?? cause that has happened to me before, i m ws flying very high and then, bang i m dead.. sniper shoot and my plane is falling out of the sky.

this might just be a glicht in the game cause what i have done 3 times in the last couple of weeks was also nice. i was flying and i hit an enemy plane by its window with my wing. the pilot died but the plane didnt explode and just fell out of the sky. weard

The map was Gazala and my plane had Supa (H4X0R) health, i got killed, but i could see my plane falling light and easy down to the ground.

I shot a pilot on El Alamein - coming into reload over axis AF, flying straight and level then BANG!
to be fair, it was an aim in hope type of shot, amazing luck really,

It is also possible to snipe the rear gunner in the 2 seaters, best when they are taking off on a map like Kursk or Kharkov

my best was when I shot down a whole plane with a sniper, it was on El Al as well and I had inflicted some damage with my Tank before bailing just as the bomb came whistling down. I ran for cover behind a dune as the pilot made a turn to come in for another pass.
the plane was smoking furiously, I crouched behind the dune and took aim
First bullet registered a hit (I was aming at the engine)
the plane was nearly on me so I switched out of sniper wiew and just pulled the trigger without aiming
next thing the plane explodes and the wreckage takes me out but not before I saw

If you notice not trying to be mean or anything but most of the time those who call people cheaters havn't been playing the game too long , they don't know how skilled a player really is, but then again there are real cheaters out there also.But thats is just from what i have seen from playing a different game called Delta Force that i had been playing for over 15 years but i i have stopped playing it because too much drama. lol but thats why i come in the JiF server because i don't see the drama even on TS they are awesome and i honestly hope to be on there clan some day ,JiF is a great bunch of guys and i will always support them whether i am on there clan or not.

U should try the GBZ-server, Stalingrad only (filter with *GBZ* in server-list). There is a lot of "cheaters" (damn good players).
Amazing how some some of those can "snipe" u with a short burst with MPs.
Sometimes when playing there I wonder...
