this is another one that is pretty good,
its a bit big but there are plenty of vehicles and although the detail isn't great
once you get into the bunker its quite cool

This is an older thread but can still be used. Did anyone think it might be interesting to add a Star Wars Modded map to CMM Rotation :?:

I have found what I believe to be a great map featuring Canadians v Axis. It is a ficticious scenario - Invasion Of Newfoundland.

This map is similar to Inv Of Phillipines but with many more vehicles / ships / carrier / pt boats / subs /planes / choppers / aa guns and fast roads.
The jeeps have 50cal mg mounted and the pt boats have 2 mg's mounted. There are some interesting beach landing possibilities.
It plays as conquest or coop. I think that this map would be very popular on CMM.

I have played the map as local coop and it plays smooth.

Here is the link , well worth a download

When I was a kid my family moved from Ottawa to St. John's Newfoundland. My father spent some time reassuring us that we were not leaving civilization for a stay in the wilds. I remembering him saying that St. John's was a beautiful and modern city. I realized he was right about the beauty of the city as we circled above it waiting to land. St. John's is a striking and beautiful city. I had plenty of time to think about it because it took over an hour to clear the Moose off the runway so we could land. Then it took another twenty minutes to push the same stubborn moose off the road so our cab could take us to the Holiday Inn (thus confirming the "modern" part of my fathers' assertion). The taxi driver explained to us (through a translator) that the company had a special policy regarding Moose, Caribou, Deer, Beaver and Drunks and we wouldn't be charged for the time waiting for the road to be cleared. That's when I realized they charged a flat fee.

So I'm guessing its a little too late for any of the suggestions here to be added to today's rotation?

I think Stonehenge is in the maps to choose from but not actually in the rotation. So it is only available to play if an admin puts it in.
