Got this in my inbox this morning. Thought I would share.
THIS IS A MUST FOR ALL THE MEN OUT THERE THAT LIKE TO BUILD THINGS...
The new nail gun, made by Dewalt can drive a 16D nail through a 2 X 4 at 200 yards. This makes construction a breeze, you can sit in your lawn chair and build a fence.
Just get the wife to hold the fence boards in place while you sit back and relax with a cold drink. When she has the board in the right place just fire away... With the hundred round magazine, you can build the fence with a minimum of reloading.
After a day of fence building with the new Dewalt Rapid fire nail gun, the wife will not ask you to fix or build anything else.

I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

this is good. we had a dewalt nail gun with a 25 gallon compresion air tank, that was a crazy tool, i remeber shooting stuff at over 100 yards. crazy what and u dont even need a weapon license for it, on the back hand its not very simple to carry a 25 gallan compresion tank with u
If we make prisons a living hell for them, then we might just be sending out devils once they are released. Cruel methods to achieve discipline are a thing of the past! So, keep on dancing! Byron F. Garcia.

LOL careful with that... I'm sure at some point society will regulate ourselves to having a permit to operate something like that (if for nothing more than a cash grab).[JiF]FrenchAfroman wrote:crazy what and u dont even need a weapon license for it, on the back hand its not very simple to carry a 25 gallan compresion tank with u

A cool thing at the first look, that M4-style nailgun.
But I don't think thats a good idea in general. Designing such dangerous tools with the shape of weapons makes them more likely to be abused. It's better to keep a clear difference: what is a tool - and what is a weapon. And one shouldn't play with neither of them. Nothing against you of course, Frenchy, I'm sure you're careful with such stuff. It's just my personal opinion.
But I guess none of you will buy something like the one on the picture above anyway...

This reminds me of the air canons we made in the machine shops on the ships while I was in the Navy. During RAS and sail past we would use them to shoot grapefruits, oranges and small melons at the other ships !
That was a blast !

I have a sneaky suspicion that this is a backyard project a la Tim Allen (home Improvement) I doubt it is a real DeWalt product
