Sleepless in gaming
Sleepless in gaming
Has anyone ever had a problem sleeping after gaming.
There are nights after playing BF42 that it takes me 2 hours to fall asleep.
The visions in my head replay maps and strategies.
My mind get's stuck on how something did or didn't work.
My wife thinks i get what i deserve.

Re: Sleepless in gaming
I used to play a bunch of console games on my TV, and whenever I played it to long and went to sleep, my dreams included shooting up some other guy or theme music from that game. That doesnt seem to happen to me on BF1942.

Re: Sleepless in gaming
I got worse when I started playing 2142...
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Yes I get this too, even if I'm tired I'm still keyed up.
The good news is that gaming is good for mental agility.
Watching TV apparently has little effect.

Yeah I've done the dream thing for sure. It's like you can close your eyes and you still see the game lol!
On a semi-serious note I hope we're not giving ourselves PSTD by playing so much!

You chaps are obviously going to bed too early.
When I turn in at 3 or 4 in the morning I have no trouble getting to sleep.
I think by that stage my brain is just so tired it switches off as soon as my head hits the pillow.
