I've heard that it means Who's your daddy, or who's your coach...
In Northern Ireland people from Belfast are collectively known as Sam - as in:
"Get away to Blah, ya Sammy Blah*rd!"
this is because many people from belfast finish their sentences with 'so I am', i.e:
"I'm away down the shops, so I am"
but with the accent it tends to get pronounced like this: "ss'yam" hence 'Sam'

but that has bugger all to do with Zouga

Isn't it from a book or a poem?

Thanks for the link.
My boys and i watched the movie "To hell and Back".
They couldn't believe all the stuff he did.
They thought it was just another movie until i told them it was based on true events and the star in the movie played himself.

Do you mean Cla-Cla-Cladius?

( I read 'I, Cladius' by Robert Graves when I was a teenager. Not exactly 'Lord of the Rings' but not a bad read.)

My Name comes from the State i live in. Its called Hessen and lies in the Middle of Germany.
So "Der Hesse" means nothing else then "The Hessian".
I took that as my Nick because of Sleepy Hollow where the evil headless Guy is a Mercenary from Hessen. In the German version they even call him "Der Hesse". Hessen was well known throughout the History for its feared Mercenarys who even fought in the American Revolutionary War. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hessian_(soldiers)
So i thought that would be a cool Name for Battlefield 1942.
