That'll be why the handsets have straps on them then!
I've also heard of someone breaking the Wii Fit Board whilst playing ski jumping. You don't have to jump for real
Perhaps that should come with a set of nails so you can nail your feet to the board.
Ooops gone off thread topic again

Re: Activisions's COD World at War
Wids,
I run it on my 32-bit Vista.
Ran great for the most part (there's a patch you need to download too).
Not sure if I had an installation or patch issue, but in the 2nd half of the singple player mission,
most of the cut scenes/cinematics were blacked out! the audio worked, but no scenes could be seen until the gameplay started back up.
These "transition" scenes were nice to see/watch during the first half.
I've already uninstalled from my comp, but havent tried to reinstall & patch again to see if it fixed the issue.
havent played the coop/multi play mode, so no feedback there either.
Alot of flamethrower usage, including tanks!!! So if you like that, that's good enough reason for the game.

seems quite a few servers have realised the power ballance problems from the air and limited in server rules what is allowed.
I did try fh2 but found it wasnt as stable as it seemed so uninstalled it.. to carry on playing bf2 spec forces

I'm almost at the end of the game, I think the soundtrack is great. I like how they integrated the music in the game, gave it a different feel then most CoD games!
Re: Activisions's COD World at War
Hi guys...DaMan here...I think I need to change my username, if that is possible. If not, I need to just sign up with a new one. I didn't realize my username would be what shows up.
Anyway, I play a lot of WaW, mostly Moongamers Hardcore TDM and UB Hardcore. I am usually on 7-10 PM Pacific Time. Feel free to join me anytime.
Hardcore is nice, people die quicker and no bunny hopping out of a kill. I like COD a lot, both COD4 and CODWaW...they move fast, lots of addrenaline pumping action.

Re: Activisions's COD World at War
seems people are having problems with 2nd patch just released.. me too lol
After patch 1.2 no sound go to windows sound settings and change it to 16bit CD quality that's it..
I spent ages scratching my head but found a cod forum with the answer
new patch has 1 new map but cod players recon its an old map revamped daytime version of a old night map.
As for my mouse didn't have a problem (must of been lucky)
found all the death cards after 3rd attempt spending most my time killing nazi zombies now

Patch 1.4 for PC finally came out 2 days ago.. 3 new maps
Station (underground bombed railway station)
Knee deep (jap village in jungle )

Re: Activisions's COD World at War
Anyone play this?
I've been playing on the MoG sniper and MoG TDM server.
Both servers usually have a lot of people playing.
The admins are pretty cool.
I saw a guy last night named GeneralHough with a record of 2 kills and 24 deaths.
It wasn't [JiF]Grimp was it?

Re: Activisions's COD World at War
I don't like WaW very much. It's not that the game is terrible, though single-player campaign is short like all the others. I made the mistake of playing the last two CoD games on the X-box, which effectively kills multiplayer for me. I'd probably like CoD4 better than WaW on PC, but I can't really be objective about it.
Anyone gonna pick up CoD:MW2? (Modern Warfare 2) It releases on Steam today, was released to retail yesterday. Thoughts?
My initial reactions to the game (without having played it) are:
1. No dedicated servers?! REALLY?!!!!
2. No dev console for tweaks, like every other PC FPS out there...
3. Bad installation process, screwy release dates.
Anyone else? Bueller?

Boycott!!

The PC version will not have dedicated servers, no modding or map making, no server admins, server hosts will have a time advantage...
based on pre-orders the game was 9th best selling on amazon until the above was announced, then it fell to 60th as people cancelled their orders,
get Battlefield Bad Company 2 instead
