Battlefield Vietnam

Post by [JiF] General WarHawk »

I've decided to reinstall BFV, after a lengthly hiatus from that game. I used to play on a server, but like here I enjoy being an engineer, and blew up a bus full of G.I.'s and ended up getting automatically banned, and couldn't contact anyone to get unbanned. I wonder if they still play. What sucked was, unlike here you can't be on the red team (VC) and so your constantly only fighting bots, which is dull as doughnuts.

If anyone is around, I'll be in there on occasion.

I play on Knights of the Realm server sometimes.
It does get boring when you have like 90 kills on bots.

I play the JIF BFVN server from time to time, see others enter while playing sometimes. I hope that the server comes back online soon.

Oh is that when it happened. I honestly thought that was last year, cause when I reinstalled it, I was like "where is the server?"

I had to unintall it, as it made the people, choppers, tanks, etc appear neon pink, and the water was neon green. Not sure what particular problem I'm having, but could be my Video memory is lacking.

That's too bad about the server. I used to play on Knights of the Realm, but got automatically banned 2 years ago, and no one has removed me from the banned list. I used to know a good many KotR's but I don't know if the Server guys play there anymore. It is rather dull, as you can't be on the Red side at all there, and you have to only kill bots all the time. No custom maps either.

Probably will annoy the government as well.

I'm not sure, it came in the box with the BF1942 set. Course I had it before but Indians and Bears came and took it, and then they all floated away, taking everything but the CD key disc with them.
