I downloaded and played for an hour and got my rearend handed to me.
My KDR was like 6 kills and 20 deaths.
Most kills were on AA gun and the deaths were after i left base in plane, tank, or on foot

The targeting on vehicles and guns seem a little bit off.
I do like the sound of the British Hurricanes flying overhead.(not Spitfires)
You can even hear the Stukas famous diving siren sound.

Overall i wish the BF42 game had more vehicles and types like in FH1, but the targeting inaccuracy i can do without.

After playing FH1 for years now, I have trouble with vanilla. Just too cartoon-ish. BTW, F9 for tank sights...

I have never seen a Kar98k really that deadly as in FH, except the real thing.
You can be happy they did not implement the real firing rate of the MG42 and not its real precision, nor the the real power of some other weapons. Some then too harsh imbalance has been smoothed, even with less power with the scoped StG44 compared to the unscoped one.

FH is somehow a realism mod and that means that much of the programmed virtual precision and much of the easier shooting of vanilla BF42 is not to be found there.

Try with bots first but beware on FH Stalingrad, as russian Artillry tends to shoot you when you reach the last spawn over the river. ;)

Ja I would reccoment d/l ze Sound & Texture packages.exe from http://www.Pixel-fighter.com, it requires ze "Enigma" its got some good additions and they have many good files and links as well.. Not bad for a dead mod! 8)
