Rank Ups
The rank ups seem to go pretty fast even if you are not very good.
I got the floaty bombs and the mines for the engineer. I can get kills that way
I want the auto-turret thingy so I am gonna have to work on the assault class too.
I would think the engineer would have a turret, not the assault.
Have you noticed you seem to be able to hear the giant robot walking for about 1.247 miles?
I find myself hiding in fear from it, looking all around, but its not even in sight. Next thing you know its ripping you up. Its like the in Jurassic Park shaking the ground;)

So I was playing yesterday and some predator thing went running by me. I did not know at first what it was so I killed it. Shoot first and let GOD sort it out
Of course I have not read any of the instructions for BF2142 so I had no idea what it was. When I shoot the thing it turns into a player again.
Fortunately for me it was an enemy not a team member. HUD map, what HUD map?
It looked kinda cool so I took his stuff and he had this thing you can turn on predator type camo. Only bad thing is you must de-cloak to shoot just like the Romulan ships do On my last power up I got the anti-predator helmet, but I have not had a chance to use it yet. I guess it detects the guys running around like predators and broadcasts their location to your team.

Last Friday, Saturday and Sunday Now I am back to work. Maybe tonight.
You can use the in game buddy system. It actually seems to work. I sent you a bunch of "add me as a buddy" requests.
See post: http://www.jiff.net/viewtopic.php?p=2292#2292
I used it yesterday to find Lonewolf and you can just hit the little thingy by their name and join them playing.
You can also send messages. If someone sends you a message it pops up a thing while you are playing to let you know there is a message.
It kinda cool.
Doc is home sick so he might be on as me racking up my score so I can get new stuff

No, but he has been really sick since Thanksgiving. He did not eat any TG diner. His birthday was the next day. No pizza, ice cream, cake. Missed out on standing in line all night in the cold rain at Bestbuy (okay maybe that was lucky) He went to the doctor on Friday, hospital on Sunday and had another doctor appointment today. He is not really having any fun. Tonsil infection problem of some kind.

I think the buddy thing works pretty decent.
After Grimp sent me the request and I accepted it I then clicked on the thing he was talking about and it gives you a few options and I could join the server that Grimp was on with out having to do a search for him on the servers.
I did notice that if a buddy is online but not in a server that option will be greyed out.
The buddy thing to me seems like it works better then the one that steam has.
