^how'd he know I was gonna say that....

Only had to reinstall RtR so it wasn't that bad getting ready...
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Just an FYI, until there's a final version I won't be posting a link to the map in the maps section as it'll just confuse people. Although if it becomes popular maybe Zoug and I can figure something out to ensure people know when the map is updated, and get a good fast link up for everyone.

For those of you who played on Monday
you may have noticed that you could not enter the fixed weapons, well you'll be glad to know that I know why now and I'll be able to fix them this evening.
If you have other comments/complaints etc I'll be glad to hear them

Some people mentioned the size of the map as a bit of an issue - well too bad its too late to shrink it now.
besides you should have seen it when I first made it

I have already begun the designs for my next map so if you think there are things I can do to improve the first then you need to let me know because I will be finishing it soon.
Once I complete the design I will add bots then be done with it

Here is a VERY Basic layout of my next project
Image

I hope to make it like a commando assault map at night Germans defending again, US/UK attacking
the allies need to cross the river and take the German fortified position like Omaha but there will be 3 complexes on the way up hill plus a guard post on the river.
The bridge will be down so allies must attack by boat and stolen schwimwagen(s)
It will be nighttime/early morning so quite dark
Allies will have NO armour
There will be tunnels (once I figure out how) plus sneaky back entrances (I resisted the urge to say passages there),
I am going to try to make the complexes 'underground' or at least covered over so they are more like a bunker complex than trenches
I will try to make it for SW so that there are more fun weapons, I might even be able to extract the Mimoyecques complex which is better than the Omaha one.
The Axis will have a Redoubt/stronghold at the top of the hill that the Allies will have to subdue to win (maybe)

So if anyone has anything they would like to see in this map then they need to speak up so I can plan it in from the beginning

You think the germans had a shock when they saw the vastness of the russian steppes in 1941, that's because they hadn't trekked on Zouga's first map release !

Last changes being made to map tonight,
Will correct the issue with fixed MGs
Will tidy up any badly placed items
Any other suggestions must be received by 5pm GMT today or its too late
I managed to add some bots at the weekend but they don't really do much but stand around at the moment, The US anyway
The germans seem to run into the wall a lot, Doh!
see you on the field

No comment on the US bit (I could be asked to leave)

The germans, I have been informed, are all clones of MIni & have been told the there is a zooka on the other side of the wall xx

played it last night on custom map day

followed mini on axis over the top and was almost dead before i saw a allied player..
Razor wire everywhere :( cut to bits and in out of bounds. after getting to run around some found it to be cool..
with one question.. what r the hovering tables for? i spent ages looking at them to the point of being shot.
so is it a decoy sort of thing put there by the allied? lol

the out of bounds and Razor wire are there to stop people going over the top
I've fixed teh MG42s so you can use them now, plus I changed a few things and took away the out of bounds.
will post a new link later
